Perfume Workshops – Level 1 and Level 2

1. What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2?

Both workshops are immersive experiences in perfume creation, each offering a different depth of exploration.

Level 1 focuses on natural perfumery, working exclusively with over 100 natural essences such as essential oils, resins, and botanical extracts.

Level 2 is designed for those ready to explore more advanced perfumery. It introduces over 100 professional-grade molecules in addition to the 100 naturals, allowing you to create more complex and contemporary fragrances.

Both workshops are guided by our perfuming team and suitable for all creative minds — from beginners to advanced enthusiasts.

2. Where and when do the workshops take place?

All workshops are held at our Montréal atelier: 4695 rue Berri, Montréal (QC) H2J 2R6

Level 1 lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours, and Level 2 runs about 3 hours, allowing plenty of time for exploration, blending, and refinement.

3. How many participants are there per session?

Groups are limited to six participants to ensure personal guidance and a calm, creative atmosphere.

We also offer private and corporate workshops for businesses, teams, or creative gatherings.

Level 1

• Price: $139 for the 11 ml bottle or $218 for the 60 ml format

5. What will I learn?

In Level 1, you will discover the structure of perfume composition — top, heart, and base notes — and learn how natural ingredients interact to form balance and harmony.

In Level 2, you will deepen your understanding of modern perfumery, working with both natural and synthetic materials to achieve diffusion, texture, and longevity.

6. What language are the workshops offered in?

Workshops are bilingual (English and French) depending on the group. Both languages are always welcome in the space.

7. Who are these workshops for?

Level 1 is ideal for anyone curious about natural perfumery or looking for a creative, sensory experience.

Level 2 is perfect for those who have completed Level 1 or already have a foundation in perfume creation and wish to explore more advanced, professional techniques.

8. What should I bring or prepare?

Everything is provided, but please arrive a few minutes early.

We strongly recommend not wearing perfume or scented products on the day of your workshop.

During the session, we test your blend on skin to ensure that your fragrance harmonizes perfectly with your natural pH.

Wear comfortable clothing and come ready to explore through smell, it’s a sensory experience.

9. Can I bring a guest or attend without participating?

Our workshops are immersive and hands-on.

Because the space is cozy and focus is important, we cannot accommodate guests or observers.

We suggest reserving a spot and taking part, whether you create a fragrance for yourself or as a gift for someone special.

11. Is parking or public transport available?

Yes. We are located two minutes from Laurier metro station (Saint-Joseph exit).

Street parking is available nearby, though we recommend arriving early on weekends.

12. Will I receive a certificate?

No formal certificate is issued.

Our focus is on creativity, experimentation, and technique.

You will leave with your finished perfume and a deeper understanding of the craft.

13. Can I reorder my formula later?

Yes. Every formula created during our workshops is archived.

You can reorder your custom perfume or request adjustments at any time by contacting us.

14. What if I have allergies or skin sensitivities?

Please let us know before your session if you have allergies or sensitivities.

Although we work with high-quality ingredients, some materials may still cause reactions.

Patch-testing is recommended if you are unsure.

16. Will refreshments be offered?

Tea or coffee is usually offered during your session.

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance.

17. When should I book?

Because groups are small and demand is high, we recommend booking as soon as your preferred date is available.
